- Hi, I am Ms. Cole. I am a 4th grade teacher in Castle Rock, Colorado. I am very excited about the Bahamian Reef Survey Project. I will be helping the scientists in their research on the coral reef ecosystems on the island of San Salvador, Bahamas. This is the island where Christopher Columbus first made landfall in 1492! In this study we hope to learn why the coral reef ecosystems are in decline worldwide. Join me in this wonderful adventure!
